A Newly Built Bed & Breakfast in Homer Alaska

On our first visit to Homer, Alaska in 1995 Wayne and Lois Bentler knew this was going to be their home someday. Every summer visit after that we grew more in love with Homer and our search began for that perfect piece of property. In August 2005, we purchased the perfect 2 acres in the newly established Crestview Estates, Cozy Cove Drive, off Skyline Drive.

In April 2007, we left our jobs, families, and our beautiful lake home in Brainerd, Minnesota to begin our new journey in life living in the mountains in Homer, Alaska.

In June of 2007 the construction began. We will be opening and welcoming guests to Bentler’s Bear Paw Inn May 2008.
