A Newly Built Bed & Breakfast in Homer Alaska

Thank you for making this one of the BEST memories of our Alaskan adventure! Homer is wonderful – from the shops and adventures on the Spit to the halibut boat, the plane for our flight-see to your wonderful B&B. It’s been lovely to have such a nice place to return to after action packed days. The workmanship and décor are so well done and it’s obvious you have both put your heart and soul into the Bear Paw Inn.

What a fabulous home and B&B you have here! We just loved staying in the cozy retreat ~ the lovely cabin “Alaska feel” to it. Wish we had had a week instead of 3 days! Have seen the eagle pair numerous times in the trees, the mother moose and calves in the field and down the road, a coyote chasing a bird in the back yard and a juvenile bull moose at the end of the drive. The wildlife viewing exceeded our expectations  as did the accommodations.

We saw a lot of Alaska on our trip and we’ve stayed at different places. But what a nice place this is!!!!! It’s warm, cozy and we are surprised every minute. We discover a new, funny, detail every time! The view is amazing! We’ve met Eddy & Freddy, the bald eagles, this afternoon. My husband can’t stop shooting pictures! We’ve met Wayne, he gave us a warm welcome. And a few moments ago we’ve met Lois (and her cookies!! Yum!). They are such nice people. This was our first B&B experience and we LOVED it! It is so nice to be close to town, but far enough away that everything seems peaceful and serene. We enjoyed the muffins, cookies, and the room. You have done such a beautiful job building and decorating it. J & L Anchorage, AK
